Property Management
The ethos at True Associates with regards to property management is to provide a comprehensive and appropriately tailored service to their clients with no hidden commissions or charges. Fees are discussed and agreed at the outset. Too often agents hold fees to unrealistic levels only to collect hidden commissions on insurances and in other areas. True Associates do not indulge in such practices.
The residential property management side of the True Associates beds well with the core business of building surveying. The residential portfolio currently contains 155 unit mansion blocks in Maida Vale as well as exclusive buildings in Regents Park and Mayfair. The aim however is to stay small and dedicated and to avoid some of the disappointments associated with quantitative unit takeovers and the emergence of vast management groups currently being witnessed.
True Associates bring a refreshing and dynamic approach to their work drawing on the expertise of the surveying team, the market knowledge of the sales team and, collectively, many years of dedicated property management experience.

Partner True Associates Limited
Jo was born (BFPO) and educated overseas where she lived for many years before returning to her home in the UK in 1980. Jo completed the Housing Law Module of Queen Marys college Masters degree and worked as an articled clerk for a criminal law firm before turning her attention to Property Management. She enjoyed a long and successful career with Fineman Lever where in 1987 she was appointed Associate Director. She has spent the intervening years predominantly involved in property management and now heads the property management division of True Associates.
Scott Derbyshire
Property Management Accountant
Scott started his working life as an Accounts Assistant for a Valuation and Auctioneers in Manchester. He gained an in depth knowledge of the various aspects of the accounts department. Over the 12 years he was with the company he rose to the position of Company Accountant, with the responsibility of preparing the monthly accounts and reporting to the board.
He relocated to London 5 years ago and moved into the field of Property Management accounts. Scott has worked at two of the larger Property Management companies in London and has now joined the team at True Associates as the Property Management accountant.
Nicada Drayton BA (Hons) AMABE
Property Management Assistant
Nicada has over four years administrative experience in the property services industry. Nicada recently graduated with First Class Honours in Business Administration awarded by the University of East London. She is an Associate Member of the Association of Business Executives and is pursuing affiliation status with the IRPM. Nicada is also currently studying for the NFOPP Technical Award in Lettings and Property Management. She has served True Associates as Senior Secretary for the last two years and is now making her mark as part of the Property Management team.
