Energy Performance Certificates

Of increasing importance in this age of environmental awareness, True Associates are able to produce the relevant certificates for both residential and commercial properties. EPC’s provide the current energy efficiency and carbon dioxide emissions of your property, compared to the potential (lower) emissions you could achieve with energy saving measures. Properties are rated from ‘A’ to ‘G’ with ‘A’ being the most efficient and all homes are measure in the same way so you are able to compare your property to others. It is important to note that if you are selling your property, it is a requirement that an EPC is provided to any prospective buyer. You can also request a recommendation report which would provide you with suggestions of how to improve your property’s rating. Acting on these recommendations will improve the efficiency and running costs of your home and could make it more attractive to a potential buyer.
